After a scorecard playoff , Drew Nelson of Birmingham claimed the Boys 14-18 title, carding a final round score of one-under par 70. He finished the tournament four-over par 146, overall. Eli Edge of Gadsden took home silver.
Grant Sheffield of Jacksons Gap posted an overall score of six-over par 148 to secure third.
Ella Roberts of Coaling took home the title in the Girls 14-18 Age Division, carding a 36-hole total of 18-over par 160.
Ryder Hughey of Selma took home the title in the Boys 12-13 Age Division, carding a 69 for round two and 144 overall for the tournament. Jireh Gilbert of Millbrook posted an overall score of 153 to take home silver.
In the Boys 9-11 Age Division, Troy Elmore of Valley Head secured victory with a final round score of nine-over par 80. He finished the tournament at 161 overall.
In the Girls 9-11 (9-Hole) Age Division, Giuliana Prokop of Hoover was crowned champion, posting a final round back-nine score of 48. Kennedy Cox of Hoover secured the silver medal with a final round back-nine score of 42.
Emmett Franklin of Pelham finished the tournament with an overall score of four-over par 76 to claim first place in the Boys 9-11 (9-Hole) Age Division. Jett Maddox of Birmingham was named runner-up after posting a final score of ten-over 82. Timothy Baker of Hoover carded an overall score of 95 to take home bronze.
After a scorecard playoff in the Boys 6-8 Division, Tristan Cook of Birmingham took home gold with an 18-hole total of 74 (6-8 Age Divisions play a total of 18 holes, 9 each day). Crew Cawyer of Birmingham earned silver. John Isaiah Baker claimed bronze with an overall score of 97.
The 2024 JGA Tour continues with its fifth event of the year, the Birmingham City Junior Amateur hosted by Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, AL later this month.
The JGA Tour is conducted by Junior Golf Alabama.
