POINT CLEAR, AL – (Feb. 26, 2023) Final Round results of the Junior Golf Alabama Kickoff held at Lakewood Golf Club, in Point Clear, Alabama, Feb. 25-26, 2023.

Harrison Parker of Mountain Brook, AL electrified the field within the Male 14-18 Age Division, posting a low five-under 67 for the final round to earn gold. Parker finished with a four-under 140 for the tournament. He was the only player to break par in their total gross score; he carded six birdies during the final round and just one bogey.
Michael Heaton of Fairhope, AL posted a one-over 145 overall to secure second. Jackson Goetz of Vestavia Hills, AL finished third, carding a four-over 148 total.
Neely Kight of Watersound, FL claimed first within the Female 14-18 Age Division. N. Kight fired a three-over 75 for the day and five-over 149 for the tournament; during the final round, she made birdie three times. Julie Waldo of Prattville, AL earned silver, finishing just two strokes behind N. Kight with a 151 overall. Ava Kight, Neely’s sister, placed third with a 153 overall.
Jacob Drysdale of Pensacola, FL placed first within the Male 12-13 Age Division, firing a two-over 73 for the round and posting a four-over 148 total. Cooper Waldo of Prattville, AL finished second with a ten-over 154 overall. Standing third, Alex Foster of Mobile, AL carded a 12-over 156.
Joe Hamilton of Mobile, AL claimed first within the Male 9-11 Age Division, carding a five-over 77 for the round and 161 for the tournament. Haynes Willings of Birmingham stands second with a total score of 174.
John Chappell of Homewood, AL earned gold within the Male 6-8 Age Division with an 18-hole gross total score of 95 (Male and Female 6-8 Age Divisions play a total of 18 holes, 9 each day). Chappell made par on three holes during his nine-hole round today.
Parker Perkins of Tuscaloosa, AL stands second, posting a tournament total of 107. Perkins also made par on three holes during his final round. Samuel Fraser of Fairhope, AL secured third with a tournament total of 109.
Cameran Cancienne of Fairhope carded a tournament total of 120 within the Female 6-8 Age Division. She birdied the par-three Hole #12 during the Final Round.
